Suburban Travel Baseball League (available age groups 8-15) is a more competitive league in which NPTB fields teams to play on Friday evenings and Sundays from early April to Mid-June. These games are played against local communities, mostly within a 45-minute drive. Other partisipating leagues are; Lenepy Valley, Doylestown, Horsham, Warrington, Langhorne, Ambler, Huntingdon Valley, Levittown, Newtown, South Hampton, Horshan, Hatboro, Glenside, Montgomery, Pennridge, Plumstead, Pensbury and Abington. The number of teams per division is determined by the number of managers and players available. Some 12 & under age divisions have A and B teams based on skill that play only against like teams (A vs. A, B vs. B), while the older divisions allow multiple teams per division and NPRB will determine, as needed, how the players will be distributed in those divisions. Travel tryouts are held in the fall prior to the upcoming season and invitations are sent via email.
Each Age Group has:
An ALL-STAR game
Playoff games and a championship game.
Approximately 14 regular season games (7 home / 7 away)
Travel games on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
